The staff were friendly. It was a good price. It was convenient. But then my storage unit was flooded and I lost my vintage comic collection, personal correspondence and several vintage toy cars that were still in their boxes. Collections I had gone to great lengths to take care of since I was a child. Some stuff that was quite valuable and some that was sentimental. All gone in the skip. What a waste. Not a penny of compensation as it was only insured against fire and theft. Not against flooding. I should have known better. That location is near 2 rivers. If I had thrown my things in the landfill 4 years ago I could have saved myself a couple of grand. So I can’t give it more than a 1 star. Not fit for purpose. At least the ground floor units.

Would highly recommend Storage 4U - always someone there to help if needed, plus plenty of parking and trolleys should you need one! Unit was clean, tidy and secure. Would use again.

Had a unit off these guys when I was re locating to the area, They are amazing very helpful and friendly, With easy access and pleanty of trolleys etc available for moving your items around, we have just rented another unit today for my nans house move, Thanks guys

Excellent storage facility, initially we only needed 4 months for whole house storage whilst our bungalow was being built. This has extended into 16 months and we went on to rent an additional smaller unit for our son/g’friend to store their items for moving into their own first time home. Lovely staff, always smiling and welcoming. CCTV, security conscious and the site is very cool too if you’re worried about heat warping furniture - appears to be a steady temperature all year round on the ground floor. We’ve even had new furniture deliveries direct to them and they’ve facilitated opening up our unit and the items being put amongst our belongings - this was such a help.

On behalf of our customer from the Isle of Wight we used this storage facility today , my team said that the reception staff were very welcoming and kept them in tea and coffee for the duration of the removal to storage. I called the storage office before we arrived and the staff there had our loading bay ready for when we arrived. If only more storage depot were as good as them.

I can highly recommend this company and Rachael in particular deserves a special mention. Reasonably priced, secure unit that kept my furniture/belongings dry and safe for 18 months. Right from the start Rachael has been fantastic: very helpful, flexible, friendly with excellent customer service skills. Great service. Rachel was incredibly helpful & nothing was too much trouble to get me sorted. She was also understanding when I’d forgotten to let them know when I’d be vacating the unit in all the chaos of my house move. I wouldn’t hesitate to store my stuff here again. Great.

So far so excellent. Several telephone calls always resulted in good answers and friendly communications. We have booked a unit for long term while we work abroad and the prices offered were incredibly competitive. They were honest about the recent flooding and offered a first floor unit, and when we were clearly disappointed with the unit allocated, bent over backwards to help us. Obviously this is only the start of our relationship but the owners and managers have done everything to make a stressful time easier and we have every trust in them that our things will be well looked after. Recommended!
