Thanks so much for accommodating us two nights in a row this weekend - vegan food was delicious (the mock duck was amazing) - and for all your help with taxis when we were stuck! Highly recommend - brill service and fab food.

On walking in I didn't like the wooden tables and chairs. The first table we sat at the seats were very uncomfortable and I asked if we could move.. and we did. The wooden seats we moved to were extremely small so we swapped them for chairs with arms. Slightly better. The food was ok, and apparently it's very popular but not for me. I was recommended by a friend who said it was good food. My friend had the steak pie and enjoyed it but her coffee was lukewarm...my coffee was hot. They have a pizza oven and the pizzas were home-made and looked really good. Parking: The car park is across the road.

Warm welcome, excellent homemade food, great price for the quality. Will be telling all my family and friends. Highly recommend!

A popular village pub, with a pizza oven as well as a restaurant menu. A separate room hosts events like open mic nights. Worth checking beforehand out what is on and availability. Vegetarian options: As a regular visitor I have the veggie meal of the day. Parking: Large car park opposite the public house.

Perfectly cooked delicious homemade food. Lovely friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. Tastefully decorated and nice atmosphere. Big car park opposite.

We stayed for carvery after the Sunday Sing Session. Very helpful with info and offering alternatives as I'm dairy intolerant. Carvery was wonderful. A good selection of vegetables and all freshly cooked. And the best bit was 3 choices of vegan desserts. We went here for the fireworks 🎇 display and it was really good, the only downside was that they were offering food and mushy peas but wasn't offering card payments. Other than that they put on a really good display.

Enjoyed the beer..fish an chips bit pricey.. not many people in for a Wednesday night 😴 would try something different to eat when I go again..

Amazing pizzas and garlic bread, quick service 10/10. Update, we have been since and not had the best customer service experience hence the 3 stars.
